Poor quality content

I'm not proud of the quality of my writing on this blog... It's because I've not cared. My only goal has been to keep creating and hitting publish.

But I'm realizing that this is how all of the modern content in the world is. The creator is rewarded not for the quality of his work, but for the frequency of his creation.

This is how every platform is designed. If you want to remain relevant on YouTube, you have to keep producing. If you want to work as a researcher at a university, you have to keep publishing.

No one is rewarded for creating something of high quality. No one is rewarded for writing things with depth. There is no demand for it.

And it comes down to understanding what is your goal as a creator. To want to be relevant and make money from your creation is reasonable.

But it isn't what Art is. I don't want readers. I am almost worried that someone will find this blog. I want to focus on the quality of the creation. To create something with depth and weight.

Not add to the noise and fluff which is found everywhere in the world.
