Curiosity

What Should I build?

In the previous post I mentioned that you can build anything and help people solve problems.

Naturally the next question is how do you find real problems to solve?

Some common answers that people share are - talk to people, use the internet, find a community, solve a problem that you are having.

But is this enough?

Whom should I talk to? What should I ask?

Why would they entertain me?

What community?

The best answer I've found for this question is follow your natural curiosity. In simple words, do what's fun for you.

If you enjoy making coffee, find the coffee community and try talking to people. If you like a sport, go to the sports group and talk to people...

You might think to yourself that this is not a real problem that would make money. But it's surprising how often things can branch out from one to the other once you go deep enough.

Even the most niche curiosity in a subject can lead to something really cool. It's hard to predict what that something cool is when you're starting out.

There's probably no point in even predicting it. Read the book you find fun. Write the blog that you want.

To summarize: Just do stuff.
